We understand your need for support when you feel overwhelmed. We are here for you.
We offer support in person, over the phone or via email. Sometimes, we may ask if you can come into The Orange Door so we can better assess your needs and support you and your family in-person. You do not need a referral.
The Orange Door is a free service and operates during business hours (9am to 5pm) from Monday to Friday (closed public holidays).
Statewide after-hours support is available. In an emergency, call Triple 000.

We work with all types of families. We can tailor our help and support to meet the diverse needs of you and your family members.
Support for when you feel unsafe
Contact us if someone is making you feel unsafe in a relationship or at home, or if you have experienced family violence or controlling behaviour. We are here to help before problems get worse.
Support for children and young people
The Orange Door can help you if you are a child or young person and feel unsafe at home, if someone close to you is hurting you, or if you are worried about the safety of a friend or family member.
Support for people of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent
